As we approach the end of summer I will miss the warmth of the sun and our time outside. We decided to take our last beach trip as a family to a new location. First we went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory and continued to drive up toward Cannon Beach. Restlessness was setting in and so we ended up stopping at a small town called Rockaway Beach. There is one main street with some small shops along with the main area that people access the beach. I really enjoy small towns and this was a wonderful trip. We all flipped off our shoes and wandered the sand for the perfect spot. The kids gravitated toward a location that had a small run off from the ocean. There they could get their feet wet and meander curiously to their hearts content. I only took about 20 images for the day as I like to just be mom and have fun too. Here are ten of my images for this month's ten on ten. All images were shot with a Canon 24mm tilt shift. You will see areas of intentional blur in different locations.
