This month I am excited to introduce a new project with the same group of photographers that I have been working with for the past year. Each month we will be studying an iconic photographer's work and then posting our images inspired from their work.
This month we selected Street Photographer, Saul Leiter, who was known most for his color photography. Some of the elements that were most noticeable to me was his use of framing, layering, reflections, and shooting through glass. You can see some of his work that I pinned here. Even though he was most know for his use of color I felt my images were most suited for black and white.
These set of images were taken when I took my kids to ride on the Portland Tram in August.
After you are done continue on to my friend Beth Urban and see her collection of images.
Thank you for visiting and looking at my work. I am a family storytelling photographer serving the Salem and Portland areas. I prefer to shoot in a documentary style and do my best work observing my surroundings. My passion is for telling family stories on location and at clients homes. I also love to document my family life in a creative way. You can find my session information here and contact me here.
